Stronger community connections through mobility, now and in the future
Transportation plays a crucial role in connecting our community. Lane County residents—in both urban and rural communities—need to get to and from work, school activities, medical appointments and places to recreate.
Local leaders representing transit, education, economics and medicine agree that we must understand and adapt to individual and community needs. In this video, you’ll hear from Jameson Auten, CEO of Lane Transit District; Henry Fields, a workforce analyst for Lane and surrounding counties at Oregon’s Employment Department; DeLeesa Meashintubby, executive director at Volunteers in Medicine; and Tony Scurto, superintendent of Lane Education Service District.
Connecting better, moving better and living better—it starts with all of us.
