Route Overview:
The Emerald Express, or EmX for short, are the green LTD buses connecting West Eugene, Downtown Eugene, the University of Oregon, Downtown Springfield, and the Gateway and RiverBend areas. EmX buses travel in dedicated bus lanes that make travel fast, frequent, and easy. Find out what makes EmX different than neighborhood bus routes in the EmX Rider Guide.

Downtown Loop
Route Overview:
The route begins at Eugene Station (Bay F) and travels east on 10th, north on High, serving Whole Foods Market and the 5th Street Public Market. The bus turns east on 4th Avenue, serving Eugene City Hall, then north on Mill Street, and West on 3rd Avenue, where it serves Parkview Terrace and the Campbell Senior Center. It then turns south on Pearl Street, where it serves Ya-Po-Ah Terrace, 5th Street Public Market, the Federal Building, and the Lane County Courthouse. The bus continues south on Pearl Street, west on 18th, and north on Oak, serving Hirons and Safeway. The bus continues on Oak Street and west on 11th Street, entering Eugene Station.

Thurston
Route Overview:
The route begins at Springfield Station (Bay E) and travels east on South A Street, which becomes Main Street. The bus continues on Main Street and turns north on 58th Street, east on Thurston Road, south on 69th Street, and then west on Main Street to return to Springfield Station.

Routes 12, 13, 66, 67, 91 & 96 – Event Detour
During all University of Oregon home football games, traffic around Autzen Stadium creates congestion on Coburg Rd., Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., and sometimes Centennial Boulevard. Route Overview:
The route begins at the Eugene Station (Bay O) and travels east on 10th Avenue, north onto High Street, where it serves the Eugene City Hall. The bus turns east onto 7th Avenue and travels over the Ferry Street Bridge. The bus turns east onto Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and serves Autzen Stadium, the Department of Youth Services, Lane County Mental Health, and Chase Village. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard becomes Centennial Boulevard as the bus enters Springfield. As it continues on Centennial Boulevard, a connection can be made with the EmX at Pioneer Parkway to Eugene Station, Gateway Mall, and River Bend Hospital. The bus will continue east on Centennial Boulevard, serving Centennial Shopping Center and Hamlin Middle School, north on 21st Street, and west on Olympic Street, which serves WinCo. The bus turns southwest onto Mohawk Boulevard, where it serves the Mohawk Shopping Center. It turns west on Centennial Boulevard, continues on Martin Luther King Boulevard, southwest onto Coburg Road over the Ferry Street Bridge, west on 8th Avenue, and south on Olive Street to return to Eugene Station.

5th Street/Hayden Bridge
Route Overview:
The route begins at Springfield Station (Bay B) and travels north on 5th Street, where it serves Springfield City Hall, the Library, and the Fred Meyer shopping center. The bus travels east onto Hayden Bridge Place, north onto 7th Street, west onto Hayden Bridge Road, south onto 19th Street, and east onto Marcola Road, where it serves Mohawk Marketplace. The bus continues east on Marcola Road, south onto 28th Street, and west onto Olympic Street, serving Walmart and WinCo Foods. The bus turns south onto Mohawk Boulevard, serving McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center, west onto G Street, traveling past Springfield High School, and south onto 5th Street to return to Springfield Station.

Mohawk
Route Overview:
The route begins at Springfield Station (Bay C) and travels north on 5th Street, where it serves Springfield City Hall and the Library. The bus turns east onto G Street, where it serves Springfield High School. It continues northeast onto Mohawk Boulevard to serve the McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center. The bus turns east onto Olympic Street, where it serves WinCo and Wal-Mart, and travels north onto 28th Street and west onto Marcola Road, where it serves the Mohawk Marketplace. The bus continues west onto Q Street serving Fred Meyer, then turns south on 5th Street, serving Springfield City Hall and the Library on its return to Springfield Station.

Donald
Route Overview:
The route begins at Eugene Station (Bay L) and travels south on Willamette Street, where it serves Woodfield Station. The bus continues south on Willamette Street and southeast onto Donald Street, where it serves the Southside Post Office and Edgewood Shopping Center. The bus continues south to Spencer Butte Middle School at 43rd Avenue and turns east onto 46th Avenue and northwest on Fox Hollow Road.
To return, the bus heads north on Donald Street, which merges with Willamette Street at 32nd Avenue. The bus continues north on Willamette Street, east onto 17th Avenue, north onto Oak Street, and west onto 11th Avenue to return to Eugene Station.

Hilyard
Route Overview:
The route begins at Eugene Station (Bay J) and travels south on Willamette Street and east onto 13th Avenue. The bus continues on 13th Avenue and turns south onto Kincaid Street, where it serves the University of Oregon. The bus turns west onto 14th Avenue, south onto Alder Street, west onto 18th Avenue, and south onto Patterson Street, where it serves South Eugene High School. The bus heads east on 24th Avenue and south on Hilyard Street, where it serves the Hilyard Community Center and the Amazon Pool and Community Center. The bus travels east onto 36th Place, south onto West Amazon, and turns east onto Martin Street.
To return, the bus travels north on Center Way, north on East Amazon Drive, which becomes Hilyard Street, east onto 13th Avenue, north onto Kincaid Street to the UO Station (Bay B), and west onto 11th Avenue to return to Eugene Station.

Jefferson
Route Overview:
The route begins at Eugene Station (Bay B) and travels west on 11th Avenue. The bus turns south onto Jefferson Street, west onto 24th Avenue, and south onto Chambers Street, where it serves the Relief Nursery. The bus turns east onto 28th Avenue and continues east, turning right onto Washington and left onto Lorane Hwy, which becomes 29th Avenue. The bus continues east on 29th Avenue, passing Woodfield Station Shopping Center before turning north onto Amazon Parkway and then east into Amazon Station Bay D.
After servicing Amazon Station, the bus continues west onto 29th, north onto Washington, west onto 28th Avenue, and north on Chambers Street, where it serves the Relief Nursery. The bus turns east onto 24th Avenue and continues north onto Jefferson Street, east onto 13th Avenue, and north onto Olive Street to Eugene Station.

West 18th Ave.
Route Overview:
The route begins at Eugene Station (Bay M) and travels south on Willamette Street and west onto 18th Avenue, where it serves Westmoreland Park. The bus continues west onto 18th Avenue, where it serves Churchill High School before traveling north onto Willow Creek. The bus turns east onto 11th Avenue to serve Walmart, where transfers can be made to Route 41 Barger and EmX to Eugene Station. The bus returns by heading east on West 11th Avenue then turns south onto Bertelsen Road, east onto West 18th Avenue, and north onto Olive to return to Eugene Station.

Barger/West 11th Ave.
Route Overview:
The route begins at Eugene Station (Bay C) and travels west on 11th Avenue and north onto Garfield Street, where transfers can be made to Routes 55 and EmX to Eugene Station or Commerce. It continues northwest onto Highway 99 past the Big Y Shopping Center, where it serves Four Corners. The bus turns west onto Royal Avenue and north onto Fairfield Street, where it serves the Gilbert Shopping Center. The bus turns north onto Highway 99 and west onto Barger Avenue, where it serves WinCo and the Echo Hollow Plaza. The bus turns south onto Terry Street, where it serves Kalapuya High School. The bus turns east onto Royal Avenue, where it serves Royal West Shopping Center and then turns south onto Bertelsen. The bus turns west onto 11th Avenue to Commerce Station at Target. The bus returns by turning around at Walmart heading east on West 11th Avenue to Commerce Station, where transfers can be made to EmX to Eugene Station and Route 36.
The bus returns by traveling east on 11th Avenue from Walmart, north onto Bertelsen, west onto Royal, serving Royal West Shopping Center, and then north onto Terry, where it serves Kalapuya High School. The bus continues east on Barger, where it serves Shasta Middle School, north onto Cubit Street and east onto Wagner Street, where it serves Echo Hollow Plaza and WinCo. The bus travels south onto North Clarey Street, east onto Barger Drive, southeast along Highway 99, and south onto Jacobs Drive, where it serves the Gilbert Shopping Center. The bus travels south onto Fairfield, west onto Royal, then southeast onto Hwy 99 to serve Four Corners. The bus turns south onto Garfield Street, where transfers can be made to Routes 55 and EmX to Eugene Station or Commerce, east onto 13th Avenue, and north onto Olive Street to return to Eugene Station.

Route Overview:
The route begins at Eugene Station (Bay E) and travels north on Olive Street, west onto 5th Avenue, north onto Washington Street by Washington-Jefferson Park, and west onto 1st Avenue. The bus travels onto Railroad Boulevard and turns north onto River Road. North Eugene High School is west of River Road on Silver Lane. The bus continues on River Road, where it serves Santa Clara Square, and stops at Santa Clara Station (Bay C). The bus departs Santa Clara Station and turns west onto Green Lane, north onto River Road, east onto Wilkes Drive, north onto Scenic Drive, west onto Spring Creek Drive, south onto River Road, and east to arrive at Santa Clara Station (Bay E). The bus travels southbound on River Road, east onto Railroad Boulevard, which becomes 1st Avenue, south onto Jefferson Street, and east at 10th Avenue to return to Eugene Station.

Route Overview:
The route begins at Eugene Station (Bay E) and travels north on Olive Street and west onto 5th Avenue near Washington-Jefferson Park. The bus continues west on 5th Avenue, north onto Blair Boulevard, west onto 2nd Avenue, and north onto Chambers Street, where it serves the Eugene Mission. Chambers Street becomes River Road, and the bus continues north on River Road. North Eugene High School is west of River Road on Silver Lane. The bus continues north on River Road, serving Santa Clara Square, and stops at Santa Clara Station (Bay B). The bus departs Santa Clara Station and turns west onto Green Lane, north onto River Road, west onto Irvington Drive, south onto Arrowhead Street, east onto Calla, south onto Kalmia, east onto Irving Drive, and south onto River Road to arrive at Santa Clara Station (Bay F). The bus travels south on River Road, turns east onto 2nd Avenue, southeast onto Blair Boulevard, east onto 5th Avenue, south onto Charnelton Street, and east onto 10th Avenue to return to Eugene Station.

Route Overview:
The route begins at Eugene Station (Bay A) and travels west on West 11th, then north onto Garfield, providing transfers to the West Eugene EmX. The bus travels east on West 7th Avenue and turns north onto Chambers. Chambers then becomes River Road, and the bus turns west onto Park, northwest onto Northwest Expressway, and north onto North Park Avenue, where it serves Emerald Park. The bus travels east onto Howard Avenue, where it serves Kelly Middle School and Howard Elementary School. The bus travels north onto Grove Street and east onto Silver Lane, where it serves North Eugene High School. The bus continues north on River Road to Santa Clara Station (Bay A). To return, the bus heads south on River Road, west onto Maxwell, south onto Grove Street, west onto Howard Avenue, south onto North Park Avenue, southeast onto the Northwest Expressway, east onto Park Avenue, south onto River Road, west onto West 6th Avenue, and south onto Garfield, making connections with the West Eugene EmX. The bus turns east onto West 13th Avenue and north onto Olive Street to Eugene Station.

UO/Kinsrow
Route Overview:
This route provides express, non-stop service between MLK Boulevard at PK Park and UO Station. This route does not operate when UO is on break. It runs Monday – Friday, 7:20 a.m. – 6:45 p.m.
The route leaves UO Station (Bay F), heading north on Kincaid Street. It travels west onto 11th Avenue, north onto Hilyard Street, west onto Broadway, over the Ferry Street Bridge, east onto MLK Boulevard, and north onto Garden Way. The bus loops around Garden Way and Commons, heading east onto Kinsrow Avenue. It heads northeast onto MLK Boulevard, south onto Coburg Road, east onto Broadway, south onto Patterson, and east onto 13th Avenue to return to UO Station.

LCC/Harris
Route Overview:
The route begins at Eugene Station (Bay I) and heads south on Willamette Street, east onto 13th, and continues to the UO Station (Bay C). Then, it travels north on Kincaid, west onto 11th Avenue, south onto Patterson Street, east onto 24th Avenue, and then south onto Hilyard Street. The bus turns east onto 30th Avenue to the LCC exit, and south onto Gonyea Road to the LCC Station and Lane Community College Main Campus (Bay B). The bus leaves Lane Community College Station (Bay B), traveling north on Gonyea Road to 30th Avenue westbound. The bus turns north onto Hilyard Street and east onto 13th Avenue arriving at the UO Station (Bay C). Then travels north on Kincaid and west onto 11th Avenue to return to Eugene Station.

Route Overview:
The route begins at Eugene Station (Bay I) and travels south on Willamette Street, east onto 13th Avenue, and south onto Pearl Street, where it serves the west side of South Eugene High School. The bus continues south onto Amazon Parkway, where it serves Amazon Station (Bay C). The bus leaves Amazon Station and travels east on 30th Avenue to the Lane Community College exit and south on Gonyea, where it serves Lane Community College Station (Bay C) and Main Campus. To return, the bus leaves Lane Community College Station (Bay C) and heads north on Gonyea Road, west onto 30th Avenue, and north onto Amazon Parkway, where it serves Amazon Station (Bay A). The bus continues north on Amazon Parkway, west onto 19th Avenue, north onto Oak Street, and west onto 11th Avenue to return to Eugene Station.

Route Overview:
The route begins at Springfield Station (Bay D) and travels westbound on Main Street. It turns south onto Franklin Boulevard and merges onto McVay Highway. The bus travels on McVay Highway until turning west onto 30th Avenue, where it serves Lane Community College Station (Bay D) and Main Campus. To return, the bus travels north on Gonyea Road to head east onto 30th Avenue. It heads north on Old McVay Highway, which turns into Franklin Boulevard. The bus heads east on South A Street to return to Springfield Station.

Route Overview:
The route begins at Eugene Station (Bay G) and travels north on Olive, east onto 10th Avenue, north onto High Street, and east onto 7th Avenue. The bus crosses the Ferry Street Bridge and travels on I-105/Highway 126 to arrive at the south side of Main Street east of Bob Straub Parkway. It continues along Main Street/Highway 126 to serve Walterville, Leaburg, Vida, Nimrod, Finn Rock, Blue River, McKenzie Bridge and McKenzie River Ranger Station. To return, the bus travels on the same route to Eugene Station.

Route Overview:
The route begins at Eugene Station (Bay I) and travels south on Willamette Street, east onto 13th Avenue, and south onto Pearl Street, where it serves the west side of South Eugene High School before continuing south onto Amazon Parkway. Upon reaching Amazon Station (Bay C), the bus turns east and travels on 30th Avenue to the Lane Community College exit, and south onto Gonyea, where it serves Lane Community College Station (Bay E) and Main Campus. The bus departs Lane Community College Station on Gonyea Road and travels east onto 30th Avenue across I-5 onto Franklin Boulevard, and travels onto Seavey Loop Road. The bus continues towards Goshen and takes Highway 58 eastbound, where it serves Pleasant Hill. The bus travels north on Pioneer Street to Lowell, crossing Dexter Reservoir, west onto East Main Street, north onto Moss Street, and east onto 2nd Street. The bus turns south onto Pioneer Street and continues to Highway 58 West to travel the regular routing to return to Eugene Station.

Veneta
Route Overview:
The route begins at Eugene Station (Bay A) and travels west on West 11th. Once the bus passes Garfield the bus will be express and will not drop off or pick up until Target. The bus continues on West 11th Avenue/Highway 126, where it arrives at the city of Veneta. The bus crosses Territorial and turns north into the Rays parking lot to service West Lane Center. The bus continues south on Territorial, and west onto West Broadway, where it serves the Veneta Park & Ride. The bus returns by continuing west on West Broadway, south onto 5th Street, and east onto Hunter Road. The bus then travels south onto Territorial Highway, east onto Perkins Road, north onto Huston Road, east onto Highway 126/West 11th Avenue. The bus will be express after Wal-Mart and will not drop off or pick up until Garfield. The bus will continue south onto Garfield, east onto West 13th Avenue and north onto Olive Street to Eugene Station.

The route begins at Eugene Station (Bay B) and travels west on 11th, north onto Olive, east onto 10th, north onto Oak Street, and East onto 7th Avenue to cross the Ferry Street Bridge. The bus heads north on Oakway Road and serves Oakway Center. It heads west onto Cal Young Road and north onto Gilham Road, where it serves Cal Young Middle School. The bus heads east onto Crescent Avenue and north onto Coburg Road, where it serves Winco. Continuing North onto Country Farm Road, then East onto Country Road, and North onto Coburg Road serving Armitage Park. Coburg Road becomes the Willamette Valley Scenic Bikeway, and the bus continues east onto Pearl, and north into the Coburg Industrial Park. On its return trip, the bus heads south out of the Coburg Industrial Park, west onto Pearl Street, southeast onto the Willamette Valley Scenic Bikeway, southwest onto Coburg Road, west and then south onto County Farm Road, west onto Crescent Avenue, south onto Gilham Road, east onto Cal Young Road, south onto Oakway Road, south onto Coburg Road, across the Ferry Street Bridge, west onto 8th Avenue, and south onto Willamette Street to Eugene Station.

Cottage Grove
Route 98 – Construction Detour
Due to the City of Cottage Grove’s Main Street revitalization project, Route 98 will not serve the stop at Main & 5th St. beginning February 17 at 7:00 AM until approximately December 2025. Please proceed to the alternate stop at Main St. east of S 10th Street.
Route Overview:
