How to Request a Night Stop
- Tell the bus operator where you want to get off when you board.
- Remind them a block away from your stop.
- The bus operator will then drop you off at the safest place near your requested location.
- Exit the bus through the front doors.
Travel Training
In partnership with Alternative Work Concepts , LTD offers free one-on-one training to help older adults and people with disabilities learn to ride the bus independently.

Travel training covers how to:
- Interact with the bus operator
- Pay fare with a tap card
- Find a seat on the bus
- Pull the cord when reaching your destination
- Safely cross the street and be aware of your surroundings
How Travel Training Works
- Contact us to confirm that you qualify for the free Travel Training program and to schedule an appointment with a travel trainer.
- The travel trainer will talk to you about your individual needs and develop a multi-phase training plan with you.
- In the first phase, a travel trainer will work with you one-on-one to show you how to get from Point A to Point B on the bus, and how to get home again. They’ll use destinations important to you, such as going from your home to your doctor’s office, to work or school, or to a store.
- Once you start to get more comfortable and confident, the travel trainer will let you lead the way in phase two. The travel trainer is there to support you, and you’ll be doing everything on your own as the trainer observes.
- The final phase is optional. Once you feel confident riding independently, you have the option to have a trainer shadow you. The trainer can observer you on one or more trips, either on the bus or from another vehicle, making sure that you get to your destination.
