Bidding Opportunities

LTD uses the B2GNow web-based procurement portal to manage its solicitation and contracting processes.  All formal solicitations and some small purchase processes are conducted through this portal.  The District’s portal can be accessed at:

Vendors, contractors, and consultants are encouraged to visit the site and view any current solicitations.  In order to download and participate, however, registration at the site is required.  Registration is free to vendors, and registration is only required once.  When a vendor’s registration is complete, the vendor can participate in any solicitation he/she chooses by submitting the required quote, bid, or proposal.

During the registration process, vendors are asked to provide company and contact information, as well as choose the appropriate NAICS codes that classify the type of services and/or goods the company is able to provide.  When LTD posts a new solicitation, staff chooses NAICS codes that apply to the types of goods and/or services sought, and any vendors registered under those same NAICS codes receive an e-mail notification to login to the site and download the newly posted documents.  Likewise, when addenda or other notifications are posted for an open solicitation, the vendor receives notifications that those are available for download at LTD’s eBid site.

LTD’s Materials Management Department continues to conduct some small and/or routine purchases outside of the eBid system.  For the provision of miscellaneous repairs, services, parts and supplies, including inventory items, vendors may express their interest in being included in these processes by emailing Bids@LTD.org or calling 541-682-5555.
