About LTD Board Member Michelle Webber
Michelle knows both sides of the transit token. Growing up in Eugene, public transportation provided her and her mother with safe, affordable and reliable services to travel to work, shopping and activities. When her family moved to the Oregon Coast, lack of public transportation created barriers that kept them from the critical services they needed. Michelle believes making pragmatic, fiscally sound and citizen-focused decisions is how LTD can best serve the needs of the community with reliable, accessible, and affordable public transportation. Governor Kate Brown appointed her to the LTD Board of Directors in 2021. She is a Springfield City Councilor-elect and is a former member of the Springfield School Board, Springfield Education Foundation, Springfield Library Foundation and the Wildish Theatre. An Assistant Vice President with Columbia Bank, Michelle is also active in the Springfield Rotary Club. Her term expires on December 31, 2024. Email Michelle at Michelle.Webber@LTD.org.
