LTD Advises Families to Get Student Transit Pass by September 30
Lane Transit District (LTD) is reminding area students in kindergarten through 12th grade, and their legal guardians, to make sure they renew their free Student Transit Pass or have gone to their school office to register for one by September 30, 2024.
The Student Transit Pass is available on Umo – LTD’s fare payment app – or a tap card. There are two ways to verify a new pass has been issued:
· Umo: After signing in, click the wallet button in the lower right-hand corner of the app. The “Passes” tab of “My Wallet” will display all current passes. If it does not display a Student Transit Pass for 24/25, please visit the school office to have the pass renewed.
· Tap Card: Register the card and create an account at UmoPass.com. The “My Wallet” tab will display any passes that are currently on the tap card. The school office can also verify the tap card’s status.
Funded by the Statewide Transportation Improvement Fund, local participation in the free Student Transit Pass program grew to more than 9,540 youth in the 2023-2024 school year.
