LTD Board Approves Strategic Business Plan

Lane Transit District’s (LTD) Board of Directors approved the District’s first-ever strategic business plan during its July meeting.
“LTD's strategic business plan provides a framework for the District's decisions at all levels of the organization based on strategies, tactics, and evaluative methods informed by LTD's refocused mission, vision, and values," said Caitlin Vargas, the President of LTD's Board of Directors. "The strategic business plan will evolve as economic and community conditions change that influence how LTD delivers its important service. This plan is a reflection of LTD’s community-oriented work, and I am appreciative of the work from both community members and the Strategic Planning Committee in making this long-standing dream turn into a reality."
LTD developed its strategic business plan over several months after receiving input from community members through surveys and meetings, as well as with guidance from the District’s Strategic Planning Committee, comprised of volunteer members from throughout the District.
LTD staff will report quarterly to the District’s board of directors about the strategic business plan’s implementation based on key performance indicators outlined in the document.
