LTD Seeks Passenger Input For Annual Service Survey
Lane Transit District passengers can take an online survey to help LTD further evaluate customer satisfaction with its bus service, as well as identify opportunities for improvements.
Administered by the American Bus Benchmarking Group (ABBG), the survey is available Tuesday, April 22, through Monday, May 19. The three-to five-minute long survey is confidential. It will be online at LTD.org beginning April 22, and paper copies will be available at the Customer Service centers at the Eugene and Springfield stations. Participants who complete the survey will be eligible to win one of two $100 gift certificates from Fred Meyer.
“Feedback from our riders is essential information for LTD. It helps us know how we’re delivering on the metrics that matter most to the community, like safety and convenience,” said Eric Breitenstein, LTD’s Marketing Director. “LTD encourages our riders to take just a few minutes to participate so we can better understand how best to get them where they want to go.”
LTD is one of 25 mid-sized transit agencies nationwide that participate in the ABBG Fixed-Route Survey. Results are shared among member agencies as a tool to compare performance, share experiences, and identify best practices for services. The confidential research is conducted by the Transportation Strategy Centre at Imperial College in London, England, a world leader in public transit benchmarking. LTD also participates in the ABBG’s paratransit survey, administered later this year.
