LTD Wins National Award for State of the District
Lane Transit District (LTD) is celebrating a first-place finish in the 2025 AdWheel Awards competition. These awards recognize the marketing and communications efforts of the members of the American Public Transportation Association (APTA).
The award is for public transit’s top educational initiative. LTD’s entry was its State of the District, held on October 15, 2024. The inaugural event presented the innovative work LTD is doing across Lane County, in addition to celebrating recent accomplishments. At the event, LTD was joined by transportation and community partners like Lane Council of Governments and Cascadia Mobility, the Springfield and Eugene Chambers of Commerce, PeaceHealth and area school districts.
LTD worked with Eugene-based Turell Group on the event, creating informational content to further engage attendees.
“LTD is taking a collaborative approach as it develops a robust transportation system that meets the diverse needs of Lane County,” said Eric Breitenstein, LTD’s Marketing Director. “The award is a reflection of LTD’s dedication to seeking advice and building relationships as we work with community-based organization, government agencies, and educational institutions.”
LTD will be recognized on-stage at APTA’s 2025 Marketing, Communications & CX Workshop in Long Beach, CA in late February.
Currently, a second round of judging is reviewing the top First Place Awards in each category to select Grand Award winners – those prizes will be handed out this summer.
