Be Seen Be Safe!
With shorter days approaching, more commuters may find themselves traveling home in the dark. Point2point at Lane Transit District wants to help pedestrians and cyclists stay safe during the darker winter hours by distributing free biking and walking lights and other safety information during a “Be Seen Be Safe Light Giveaway” event.
Point2point will be in Eugene on Wednesday, September 30, 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., at Kesey Square, Broadway and Willamette Streets; and in Springfield on Friday, October 2, at the Farmers Market at Sprout, 4th & A Streets, from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. While supplies last.
