Ride LTD During September's Get There Car Free Challenge
Commuters are encouraged to use Lane Transit District to “get there” during the Get There Car Free Challenge this month. Participants can pledge to drive less during the week of Monday, September 16 – Sunday, September 22, and log trips taken by bus, walking, biking, scooter, carpooling, and vanpooling. The final day of the Challenge, September 22, marks the annual World Car Free Day.
All eligible participants will be entered into a raffle to win prizes, ranging from a $100 Clever Cycles gift card to a $100 gift card from a grocery store of their choice.
Participants can use the free GetThere Connect to track stats like money saved, calories burned, and reduced carbon emissions from their bus, carpooling, vanpooling, biking, and walking trips.
